This image features a rarely seen perspective of a CAP pump — looking upwards from the bottom of the pump suction tube / penstock at Bouse Hills Pumping Plant. It is the second plant in the CAP system, featuring ten pumping units that lift water more than 100 feet into the next section of the canal.
