Central Arizona Project (CAP) received a 2026 Gold Telly Award for its 30-second video, You Can Rely on Us, which showcases CAP’s workforce and their commitment to ensuring a reliable system.

The video was produced by Multimedia Specialist David Routt and features Millwright Mechanic Brandon Eimerman. He shares his part of the CAP story, his perspective on reliability and why more than 6 million Arizonans can count on CAP to deliver water.

“Brandon is featured in the video,” said Routt. “But he is really telling the story about CAP’s mission of delivering water. People should know where their water comes from and this story helps put a face on that.”

The Telly Awards recognize excellence in video and television across all screens and are among the industry’s most prestigious honors and the Gold Telly is the highest tier award. This year’s competition attracted nearly 14,000 entries—the largest field in the award’s history—from creators, brands and production companies representing 55 countries.

Since its release in 2025, CAP’s reliability video has generated more than 110,000 views, resonating with audiences while highlighting the dedication and expertise of CAP employees.

“We are proud to share this story because it’s so important to remind Arizona about the people behind their water supply and the excellent work they do every day,” said CAP General Manager Brenda Burman.

Congratulations to Routt and everyone involved in bringing this award-winning story to life.
