CAP is excited to announce the release of its new water quality web portal – the AquaPortal.
The project started with the Board approval of the Consensus Proposal for Water Quality Standards in June, 2018. What seemed to be a relatively simple task of improving the data sharing capabilities of CAP’s water quality program turned into an 18-month journey that now puts CAP and its water quality data management system on the leading edge of technology.
The AquaPortal is powered by Aquarius, a cloud-based software by Aquatic Informatics. It contains modules that allow for management and storage of laboratory and field data (Aquarius Samples), ingestion of data from continuous monitoring stations (Aquarius Connect), data analysis and quality control (Aquarius Time-Series), and a web-based user interface (Aquarius WebPortal).
AquaPortal features include:
- Custom dashboards
- Interactive maps
- Live reports
- Alerting capabilities
The AquaPortal allows users to view real-time data on a map, create custom charts, and access annual reports. Be sure to read the “welcome” dashboard and User Manual before exploring the site.
CAP is thankful for all the feedback that has been provided by its stakeholders. Any additional feedback is welcomed and can be sent to: info@cap-az.com
