Video: CAP Kids Day delivers water education

From calculating the maximum angle of launched water bottles to studying instruments CAP uses to perform inspections, more than 150 kids and grandkids of CAP employees woke up before dawn to enjoy learning all about the critical work CAP performs for central and southern Arizona.

Held annually at CAP headquarters, the kids spent this June morning learning about engineering, safety, search and rescue, and more.

CAP believes it’s critical that Arizonans understand the importance of the Colorado River water CAP delivers, and offers free educational materials to the public.

The goal of CAP Kids Day is to foster education among future generations of CAP employees about the importance of the work CAP performs, and to inspire the kids on their own future career paths.
