Bridget Schwartz-Manock promoted to Assistant General Manager of Public and Intergovernmental Affairs

CAP Assistant General Manager of Public and Intergovernmental Affairs Bridget Schwartz-Manock

Bridget Schwartz-Manock has been promoted to the position of Assistant General Manager of Public and Intergovernmental Affairs.

Bridget joined CAP in 2009 as the organization’s Legislative Affairs Manager. She worked to build a strong legislative advocacy program and proactively engaged in the state and federal legislative arenas. 

In 2015, her responsibilities expanded to oversee the administration of the Central Arizona Water Conservation District Board of Directors. In 2016, Bridget was promoted to Director of Public Affairs, taking on the leadership of additional teams including Communications, Strategic Planning, and Stakeholder and Community Relations.

Throughout her time as Public Affairs Director, the programs have continued to grow including tribal and municipal stakeholder outreach efforts, enhanced community engagement, and increased outreach with both the state and federal executive branches.

Bridget has played an integral role in the creation of CAP’s Women’s Leadership Network, the 2022 Board Strategic Plan and now is the project sponsor for a new CAP Water Education Center.

With 28 years of experience in public policy and legislative affairs, Bridget previously worked as the Government Relations Director for the City of Scottsdale, Legislative Liaison for the City of Phoenix, and Performance Auditor for the State of Arizona.

Bridget holds a B.A. in Political Science from the College of St. Catherine and a Master’s in Public Administration from Hamline University, St. Paul, Minnesota.
