Safety first!

For 16 years, CAP has hosted Safety Week, an annual, all-employee event that is dedicated to required and elective safety training. CAP employees attended 153 classes for a total of 5,228 hours of training that is focused on improving safety at work and at home.

This year, the keynote speakers were familiar faces — CAP employees who shared their own personal safety stories.

CAP’s commitment to safety is not new. The organization achieved Voluntary Protection Program site (VPP) status in 2006 and has maintained it since then. Safety is so important that every employee not only works hard to ensure a reliable system but believes doing it safely is critical in accomplishing that goal.

Safety isn’t something we do … it’s who we are!

This video highlights some of the sights and sounds from this week’s training.
