The workday for the Mechanical Maintenance 3 crew – also known as heavy overhaul mechanics or HOGS – begins early, often before the sun is up. This day they were at the Casa Grande Extension Turnout completing a seal replacement on the turnout gate along with hydraulic piping modifications. with support from the Protective Coatings crew.
