Central Arizona Project has monitored water quality since the first deliveries began in 1985 and has developed a new fact sheet to sum up this program.

A few highlights:

• CAP has recently expanded its Water Quality Monitoring Program and publishes extensive water quality data on its website as a service to water users and customers.
• CAP monitors key physiochemical characteristics. Note that turbidity, pH, temperature, and dissolved oxygen are all measured in real time. Total organic carbon (TOC), on the other hand, is not measured in real time.
