CAP Canal at Shea Blvd. in Scottsdale

CAP has updated the CAP Allocations Map and Subcontract Status Report to show the NIA Reallocation parties and their new water allocations. For some users, this will be an additional volume of NIA water while others have been added to the Long Term Contract list for the first time. In 2021, 44,530 acre-feet of NIA water was reallocated to 14 entities, including private water companies, municipalities, industrial water users and the Central Arizona Groundwater Replenishment District. Delivery of these new water allocations began at the beginning of 2022.

The CAP Allocations Map shows these new customers and related data visually, while the Subcontract Status Report shares the volumes and additional notes in a text format. Learn more about the CAP Allocations map here.
