CAP is the “poster child” for safety

Safety is a priority at CAP. We’ve achieved Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) status. We received the Public Risk Management Association’s (PRIMA) Outstanding Achievement Award. We host an annual safety week for all employees. It’s a core value in our Strategic Plan.

It’s such a priority that the Arizona Division of Occupational Safety and Health (ADOSH) recently featured CAP in a video highlighting VPP.

CAP first earned VPP on Aug. 11, 2006, and has been recertified multiple times since then. The video highlights CAP workers and includes an interview with Safety Manager Darin Perkins who explains why VPP is beneficial for employees and the organization.
